FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE FOR BEPS ENERGY SAVING RENOVATIONS:

​

The NAACP Washington, DC Branch, in partnership with the National Capitol Strategy Group (NCSG) and PACE Equity are committed to helping local developers and commercial property owners develop sustainable projects that maximize energy savings while improving financial outcomes by providing direct capital funding to complete eco-friendly retrofits and energy savings renovations on their properties.  This will help them to reduce their carbon emissions, to  reach DC’s new Building Energy Performance Standard (BEPS) to become compliant with DC’s new energy savings and decarbonization regulations aimed at carbon emissions reduction as per DC law.

HIRING FOR CARBON EMISSIONS REDUCTION TRAINING PROGRAM:

The NAACP and NCSG have partnered to offer recruitment and training for a Carbon Emissions Reduction job training program for local residents to help complete the decarbonization and energy savings updates necessary to ensure the DC commercial properties that need to reduce their carbon emissions achieve BEPS compliance.
