NAACP DC Branch, NAACP Region VII, and the ACT against AIDS Leadership Initiative (AAALI) hosted an HIV / AIDS 101 Training Saturday, September 19, 2009.
The purpose of this event was to train the community to become health advocates educated to promote awareness about HIV and AIDS within our community! We learned about the devastating effects of HIV and AIDS in our communities of color. We can all make a difference in combating this disease.
This was provided by the National Minority AIDS Education Training Center.
